John & Diane Ware extend a warm and friendly welcome to all visitors
to Hunters Moon a 17th century cottage situated on the edge of Bridestowe village nestled at the foot of Dartmoor National Park
just six miles West of Okehampton.
Originally two cottages built of local stone and cob Hunters Moon
has been sympathetically extended and renovated to provide modern
day comforts but still retaining the charm of days gone by with oak
beams and inglenook fireplaces with their original bread ovens.
A full Devon breakfast is freshly cooked to order using local produce
where possible and fresh eggs from our own corn fed hens.
We offer a three course (set menu) evening meal as an optional extra
which should be booked in advance.
Special diets can be catered for if advised when making a reservation.
Being over 300 years old Hunters Moon is not suitable for wheelchairs.
